Description
Their primary muscle stimulation product known as QB1 had limited capabilities and was cumbersome for patients to carry around. CyMedica chose to partner with our team of experts at IntraEdge to develop an application for a wireless muscle stimulation system that patients can safely control using their smartphone or tablet.
Our team of developers worked closely with CyMedica engineers to develop a high-quality application that works seamlessly on both iOS and Android devices.
this solution accounted for different screen sizes, hardware, and OS versions. The team also ensured that data from the application and therapy device could be captured and stored.
The design of the app also provides easy navigation and display of complex data, allowing for patients to track their progress and tele-share it with their doctor. The result: Not only do patients feel more engaged and empowered, they also reduce the risk of complications or the need for extra rehabilitation.

As a result of the collaboration between IntraEdge and CyMedica, the e-vive system received FDA 510(k) clearance.
e-vive passed the Apple store review with only minimal edits. CyMedica is now discussing how IntraEdge can continue to make enhancements to the application as the technology evolves.
